Ad Hoc Committee Teams of the Pagosa Springs Arts Council:

Home and Garden Tour: This committee is involved in bringing you the tremendously popular Pagosa Springs Home and Garden Tour. In this event you purchase a ticket from the PSAC and tour select homes and gardens in the Pagosa Springs area. The Tour offers an opportunity to showcase the unique and varied artistic expressions in the Pagosa area homes and gardens. View the wide variety of architecture and decorating styles and get ideas to use in your home or garden. It is a wonderful way for the public to secure ideas in gardening, building and decorating.

Photo Contest: This committee brings the opportunity for all ages to display their artistic and photographic talents. There are many categories of entries from landscape to portraiture. There is a fee to enter your photos in this event.

Radio Shows: These shows are on KWUF, found at 1400 AM, and highlight and discuss the upcoming PSAC events. This an important part of our publicity for the PSAC and the community activities it supports.

Workshops: There are a variety of workshops waiting to be offered by the PSAC and we are interested in instructors, volunteer helpers and any requests and suggestions that you might have to offer.

Summer Art Camp: The Summer Art Camp program is designed to inspire our young artists to develop their creativity and arts awareness, as well as, boosting their confidence in themselves with a non-graded, noncompetitive environment. It is also a fun time with their peers during which they create their own unique works of art centered around a theme or art medium. These camps are instructor guided and provide an enjoyable learning environment for our youngsters.

Artists’ Studio and Gallery Tour: This is an annual event that began in 2008. The Artists’ Studio and Gallery Tour provides the public with an opportunity to explore the unique and evocative work of local artists. Participants can partake in a rare, intimate look into the artists’ studios, discover the artist’s varied techniques and processes, and visit the communities galleries, all while enjoying the pristine beauty and picturesque, panoramic views of the spectacular San Juan Mountains.

We would love to have your support and assistance on the teams for the various projects we do each year. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to volunteer your help: info@pagosa-arts.com. Thanks!
